Stories. That's a word that's been coming up for me lately and so I thought it was appropriate to start with it as I introduce myself.
Hi! I'm Sandrine Sahakians, I'm an actor, filmmaker, creator. For years it felt like something was missing in my life and I finally figured out that this longing was a call to tell stories. I think we all crave stories. Every single one can teach us something and also help us connect to the world and other people.
Acting is one way I have found to tell stories. It also allows me to explore different parts of myself and allow them to come out and play. And in sharing those parts, the hidden parts that we don’t always allow others to see, maybe it will make it less scary for others in the world to show theirs.
In addition to acting, I have found myself delving more and more in other ways to tell stories like producing, writing, editing, dancing, drawing. They all feel part of a whole and I look forward to continue exploring every side of storytelling.
